What a Roadtrip
Man, it is so great to be back home. There is nothing I love more than to be out on the road meeting our fans and meeting people as we go. Getting into people’s lives is what we’ve always been about but there is something to be said about being cramped in a car for 18 hours while we drive from Nashville to Western Minnesota.
We went to Benson, MN this weekend and performed at the BAM Youth Center. For those of you who were out there, we hope you had a good time and we look forward to coming back out there in the future (though next time we might want to fly…haha). If you missed it, well, let’s say you missed a good ol’ time. In fact I think it was one of the most impressive performances we’ve given. We were all taken away by just how much fun we had and how smoothly everything really went.
We were truly blessed by Todd and Leslie Widseth for opening their home to us and for making some mean grub to fill our bellies with. Homemade soup is miles beyond comparison to some quick fast food burger (the thought of that burger turns my stomach just thinking about it…hehe) and the Widseth’s really know how to cook.
I’m so glad to be back home though and really am happy to have been to Benson, MN and back. Our next time out will be in January and we’ll have new CD’s with us ready to get that music in your hands. So stay close to us and follow us on facebook or twitter or come find each of us and build a friendship that will last long beyond the end of Beekin.
God bless
Erick
