Now the anxiety sets in and I start thinking about all the things that can drive a small business owner insane.
What if no one buys it? What if no one likes it? What if the world comes crashing down around us?  Okay, that last one won’t matter much in the scheme of things, but you get the jist of it.
I’m not anticipating a cash cow here, but it would be nice to recoup the cost of the project back and start saving to do another project.

Ugh, there’s a thought…I suppose we need to start writing more music for a new project…one thing at a time Erick.

Anyway…enough of my ranting.  I promised myself I would be open and honest with our fans and foes and this may be just a little too honest.
But the upside is that you have less than 24 hours to get yourself a copy of our new project and I for one am very excited about what the next few months holds.

So if you like our new project tell a few friends and point them to our site to get a copy themselves.  We’re looking forward to making a lot of new friends.

It never gets old hearing one of your songs on the radio.  I thought it would, but it’s cool to know that people hear it, are touched by it or like it enough to want to play it on their station so others can experience that.
Then I started thinking about how we need to be that way with our faith.  We need to be so excited about it that it just exudes from us like something that can’t be controlled.

I was having a discussion with one of the other guys this week and we were talking about Beekin shows and how our schedule should shape up for 2010 and I came to the realization that, the reason I don’t care how many shows we play or if there are 1000 people at a festival or or 10 people in a small shanty shack, is because I have a passion to use my talent for God.  God gave me the talent of music.  I can’t explain it, I just live and breathe it and I can hear 3 bars of a song and tell you the tempo, time sig and feel of the song (if my ear was better I could prolly tell you the key) because it consumes me.  I love music because my God has created me that way.

When I gave my life to Christ, I heard as clear as day His voice telling me, “You will praise my name and spread my word with music”.  It’s what I was MADE to do, and thus my passion for music and making things happen with music just pour out of me.

I encourage you today to do 2 things…
1) Examine your life, your walk, your love for God and ask Him what he created you to do (especially if you don’t know with 100% assurance) and then seek out ways to serve in those areas
2) Check out our latest news post, find the station nearest you that is churning out Beekin and call them and request our new single.
